Keylogger

A keylogger (or keystroke logging, keyboard capturing) is a computer program that everything typed on a keyboard. Keyloggers are used by adversaries to gain access to confidential information. In early 2011, a malware emerged that used keyloggers and classic hacking methods to search for data that looks like a Bitcoin wallet private key or the whole wallet. Using the Pony botnet in 2014, attackers behind the malicious code stole a variety of personal data from millions of users and 220,000 US dollars worth of various cryptocurrencies.
